A few of Holly’s recent accomplishments:

– Delivered an income tax cut for working-class families
– Extended budgetary controls to pay down state debt
– Established a childcare pilot program in Southeastern CT with a new public-private partnership funding stream
– Secured funding to improve the Montville animal shelter
– Instituted new safety measures protecting children from adult-use marijuana products
– Proposed a plan to balance the state budget

Ongoing legislative priorities:

– Reducing energy costs for ratepayers
– Improving public safety at Gardner Lake State Park
– Funding domestic violence victim support services
– Studying impact of large-scale data centers

2024 Honored by Safe Futures for advocacy on behalf of domestic violence victims

A New London native, Holly has lived in East Lyme for more than three decades. She currently works as a consultant to the Niantic Children’s Museum, having served there as executive director for the past nine years. She is Ranking Member of the General Assembly’s committee on Finance, Revenue, and Bonding, and is also a leading voice on societal issues such as impaired driving and suicide prevention.
